Join Chef Siska on an exploration of Indonesian Oxtail Soup:
Sop buntut (oxtail soup) is a very popular soup in Indonesia. If you have attended my past hot-pot event, you know this soup is the base of my hot-pot broth.
For this dinner, I am serving this soup as it is served in many homes across Indonesia. A bowl of Oxtail soup with rich but clear beef broth. It contains boiled potatoes, carrots, tomatoes, leeks, celery and fried shallots. Indonesian oxtail sou is seasoned with garlic and spices such as black pepper, nutmeg, and clove. The soup is also accompanied by Indonesian hot sauce (sambal).
Wine will be served during dinner. Meat and vegetables are sourced from local farms
